Sliding Door Track Repair & Replacement

A bent or worn track will chew through brand-new rollers in months.

The bottom track takes the entire weight of your door, so it wears out — the soft aluminum gets pitted, dented, and worn into grooves that no roller can ride smoothly. Instead of ripping your whole door out, we most often install a stainless-steel cap track right over the damaged one: a hardened surface that's stronger than the original and lets the door glide effortlessly. When a track is too far gone, we replace it entirely.

Signs you need track repair

  • The door jumps, catches, or derails when you slide it
  • Visible dents, grooves, or pitting in the metal track
  • You've replaced rollers before and the door still drags
  • Rust or corrosion along the track
  • Water pooling in the track after rain

What we do

  • Stainless-steel cap-track installation over worn tracks
  • Full track replacement when needed
  • Deep track cleaning and debris removal
  • Weatherstrip and weep-hole service
  • Roller adjustment to match the new track

Serving your whole area

We provide track repair across Jacksonville and all of Northeast Florida — from the Beaches to St. Augustine, Orange Park, Fleming Island, Fernandina Beach and beyond. See every area we serve.

Track Repair FAQ

Common Questions

Do I need a whole new door if my track is worn?
Almost never. A stainless cap track is stronger than the factory aluminum and costs a fraction of a new door. We'll only recommend replacement if the track is structurally damaged.
Why does my track keep collecting dirt and water?
Clogged weep holes and worn tracks trap sand and water, which speeds up wear and can let water into your home. We clean the weeps and seal things up as part of the job.
Will a cap track make the door run better than before?
Yes — most customers say the door glides smoother than it did when the house was new, because the stainless surface is harder and slicker than original aluminum.
